Home of Goat Milk Soap
and
 Rescue Farm

We continue to be overwhelmed by the touching comments from you, our customers, about our goat milk soap and rescue farm. Nearly 50 animals, which include llamas, donkeys, goats and sheep and a plethora of cats and dogs that have come to us from as many as four states (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana) are wagging their tails in thanks. Their upkeep and survival relies, in part, on the success of our soap sales.

If we sell enough soap we can keep costs down and make enough profit to benefit our animals. Many of our rescue animals come to us in very poor physical condition. We have two large and two small animal vets that are on call at all times. We have a farrier that has made an art form out of restoring the crippled, mangled and uncared for hoofs and feet of our animals. We have directly or indirectly taken animals in from the
Michigan, Ohio and Indiana Humane Society, plus the Great Lakes Border Collie Rescue Association and the CrossRoads Donkey Rescue Association. These are professional organizations and have made a very serious business of saving endangered animals. We also have a list of local veterinarians that, after trying to place animals on their own and have failed, call us to take in the unfortunate animals that no one else wants. And of course, living on a farm, we have a long list of uninvited “guests” that show up and make themselves at home. Then sadly, we get an unending amount of “dumped” animals outside our front gate. Dogs and cats of all kinds, sometimes even farm animals, many pregnant, most undernourished, some crippled, many old and decrepit that no body wants and knowing we will take them are left for us to find. We find them wrapped in blankets, stuffed in boxes, tied to the fence, sometimes lying nearly dead. We take them in without question. No animal is ever turned away and we make sure all animals get a chance at living a quality life they deserve. For Colleen and I, we take this commitment very seriously and we’re glad you’re a part of it.

Colleen and I would also like to thank the many folks that have written to us supporting our rescue efforts and particularly, giving us testimonials about the effectiveness of goat milk soap. We have a long list of
customers that have skin conditions including psoriasis, Eczema and acne that buy from us regularly and have told us how effective the soap is in controlling their skin condition. The goat milk soap of choice for serious allergies and skin conditions is oatmeal and honey. I know this because I have bad skin allergies. I have had a beard for over thirty years because shaving is painful and produces severe rashes. Colleen started making goat milk soap for me years ago and it worked so well I told her to keep making it. I didn’t want any other kind of soap to use. We, in addition to many of our customers, have found that goat milk soap is truly the world’s best soap for dry skin, sensitive skin and allergies.* I know! It works for me, works for our hardworking outdoor customers and—yes, it will work for you! Please try it. Mona, our lead Alpine dairy goat, and all the rescue animals on our farm insist. You will use no other soap for hands and showering after you try our goat milk soap.
